WHAT
In this hands-on, fun, informative and interactive class, you’ll spend the day receiving highly personalized instruction from five cooking instructors working in small groups. We’ll review everything you need to know to easily prepare healthy superfoods, from kitchen set-up to shopping lists. You’ll also learn the nutritional and health benefits of each dish so you’ll know why it is so important to include these superfoods in your daily diet. Together, we will cook and enjoy simple recipes featuring a variety of superfoods. A delicious group meal will take place at the end of class.
FEATURED SUPERFOODS
- Fresh Kale: called the “King of Calcium”, often listed as top 10 healthiest foods.
- Quinoa Grain: highest nutritional profile of all grains, a “complete” protein.
- Beans: low fat source of protein that also lowers cholesterol.
