Turtle Shell Health, a member website that provides its clients with exclusive discounts to local health practitioners, will screen the new documentary FRESH, by Ana Sofia Joanes. The event offers attendees exercise lessons and demonstrations, food samplings from local farmers, and plenty of sponsor giveaways. There will be a post-screening opportunity for guests to voice concerns over the film’s topics with a panel of experts within the health, nutrition and farming professions. The movie will be screened inside the beautiful facility at the Core Dynamics Health & Fitness Gym in Water Mill, NY on Friday August 13th.
Fresh, the new food documentary by Ana Sofia Joanes, celebrates the farmers, thinkers and business people across America who are re-inventing our food system. Each has witnessed the rapid transformation of our agriculture into an industrial model, and confronted the consequences: food contamination, environmental pollution, depletion of natural resources, and morbid obesity. Forging healthier, sustainable alternatives, they offer a practical vision for a future of our food and our planet.

Itinerary: 3pm-5pm: Exercise open house with fitness trainers demonstration. Various local cheese and wine producers will be present. 5pm-6pm: drinks and food. 6pm-7:15pm: Film projection. 7:30pm-830pm: Post screening Q&A with panel of experts. We allow guests to ask questions and discuss the film with farming and nutrition experts.
